Hello! I’m Aravind Dudam and I am located in Tampa, Florida. As a curious and driven individual, I have acquired four years of IT experience and continuously seek new learning opportunities. My primary interest lies in utilizing data to uncover valuable insights and simplify complex coding. I am proficient in programming languages such as Python and R and utilize various open-source tools, frameworks, and libraries to streamline my work. Additionally, I have expertise in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Jupyter Notebook, and Oracle DB.
During my career, I have worked with reputable companies like Collins Aerospace, Caterpillar, Boeing, and Airbus, serving as a Data Analyst. which has equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to analyze complex data and draw meaningful insights. Over the course of my career, I have worked with a wide range of datasets, from small, structured datasets to large, unstructured ones. Currently, I am pursuing my Masters in Business Analytics and Information Systems from the University of South Florida, further expanding my knowledge in the field.
Let me tell you about my journey so far, it has been nothing short of thrilling. I am originally from Hyderabad, India and have always had a strong interest in the tech world. After completing high school, I pursued mathematics as my major and obtained my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from JBIET. I look back at those years with fondness and cherish every moment of my undergraduate journey. My confidence was sky-high when I started my career at the globally renowned company, Collins Aerospace, as a Junior Data Analyst.
At Collins Aerospace, I was able to develop my skills in data analysis and learn from some of the best in the industry. I will forever be grateful for the indelible impact that my team and the organization had on my mindset. During my time there, I was promoted twice and became a Data Analyst before eventually moving on to join Actalent.
My time at Actalent may have only lasted for five months, but it was an incredible learning experience for me. I had the opportunity to work on new technologies such as Machine Learning and Deep Learning. This experience allowed me to delve into Machine Learning and taught me the value of being a self-learner.
My fascination for technology continued to grow, and I made a decision to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Analytics and Information Systems from the prestigious University of South Florida. I feel extremely lucky to have been exposed to some extraordinary personalities and a quality-filled environment. My goal now is to become a successful Data Analyst and continue to grow in my career with a variety of exposures.
To me, success is not just about achieving a destination, it is about the journey itself. I believe that my journey thus far has been a testament to this, and I am excited to see what the future holds.
